KYC known as ‘Know Your customer’ is a verification mechanism through which customers’ identity is verified. With the use of technology, KYC certain processes are being digitized. The process along with guidelines was issued by Bangladesh Bank through which customer’s identity and validity will be verified during customer’s account opening or customer onboarding, this process is defined as e-KYC.
